Asus is now showing off its newest U6S notebook, based on Intel Centino Duo processor technology and Windows Vista operating system and sporting a 12-inches wide screen plus a host of other features, in the Indian market.
The laptop boasts mocha brown high-shine cover which is made by a thirteen step process and with underlying shimmering fibers that shine gets its name from the equally delicate luminous fabric, Voile. While the leather bound palm rest offers comfort to users.
The U6S laptop also incorporates 3.5G High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) wireless broadband capability, which according to the company, boosts current 3G download speeds by approximately 4 times, allowing users to connect to the Internet across cellular networks without the need to connect the computer to a mobile phone.
It also offers other security features like finger print authentication for securing your data, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for data encryption, password retention and Asus CopyProtect, to prevent unauthorized reproduction of data in the notebook.
The Asus U6S also adopts a special LED backlight panel that is half the width and 1/3 the weight of traditional LCD panels, built-in webcam, and SmartLogon software that recognizes its rightful owner and grants access to the computer accordingly after a positive facial scan.

The Asus U6S notebook is available in India through distributors Rashi Peripherals and eZone and is priced at Rs 94,900 with two year of global warranty.
