Corel Flaunts Digital Media Software Products
Corel, a developer of graphics, productivity and digital media software has revealed that it will showcase its digital media products including Corel WinDVD, Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo, Ulead DVD MovieFactory and Ulead VideoStudio during Computex in Taipei, in the first week of June 2008.
Corel Digital Media products give users the ability to edit and watch their own photo and video creations or the latest Hollywood blockbusters where and when they want, with full support for today’s most popular file formats and technologies, including Blu-ray Disc and AVCHD, claimed the company.
The Digital Media products and solutions that Corel will showcase include, Corel WinDVD: DVD and video playback software with support for high-definition AVCHD and Blu-ray Disc video. BD-J, BonusView, DTS HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD/Digital Plus, Intel GM45 Express Chipset, NVIDIA and ATI GPU support and Trimension All2HD advanced upscaling.
Corel LinDVD: Built on Corel's video playback technology, Corel LinDVD delivers high-quality DVD and video playback to Linux users. Support for Ubuntu 8.04, Asus E-PC family (Eee PC), ALSA Audio optimization and Debian Installer! Corel LinDVD is available to OEM partners only.
VideoStudio, Paint Shop Pro Photo and DVD MovieFactory: Complete solution to capture HD video, edit photos and videos, create photo and video slideshows, author menus, burn to 8DVD or Blu-ray Disc and play back on PCs or players. Supports Blu-ray Disc menu authoring with BD Java. Create discs from high-definition video including HDV, AVCHD and BDMV camcorders.
Digital Home: Direct TV technology (DVB-T, DVB-S, ATSC and ISDB-T) with DLNA/DTCP-IP compliant solution to easily share TV shows via the network. Technology for the digital home is available to OEM partners only.
