F&S Lauds e-MDs for its Novel Healthcare IT Solutions in the North American
Frost & Sullivan confers its 2007 Niche Leadership Differentiation Award for healthcare IT on e-MDs in recognition of the company’s novel solutions in the North American electronic medical record (EMR) market in physician-based practices.
“e-MDs provides leading technology solutions and add-on module capabilities for the physician-based practice EMR and practice management (PM) market,” notes Frost & Sullivan Industry Analyst Steve Tobin. “The company is a focused provider of a fully integrated single-database EMR-PM solution that can scale up with the needs of a physician.”
“We are extremely proud to be honored by Frost & Sullivan for our work within the EMR-PM market,” said Dr. David Winn, CEO of e-MDs. “We believe that by providing medical practices with an affordable, integrated solution, e-MDs improves our physicians’ ability to care for their patients and run successful businesses.”
A fluid product built as a fully integrated EMR-PM solution with a single database, e-MDs Solution Series involves low total cost of ownership combined with ease of data control. A single data model allows for effective manipulation and control of data integration, viewing and reporting. Moreover, e-MDs Solution Series provides patient education, health maintenance activity, as well as strong presentation and documentation of clinical content.
By providing modules such as e-MDs DocMan and e-MDS Companion, e-MDS offers a complete solution set for any size practice. In addition, practices that are constrained by budget and IT resources are able to add modules at any time, allowing physician-based practices to scale and budget for new requirements when they deem necessary.
In recognition of its contribution to the industry in terms of product performance and rate of technical change, e-MDs is the deserving recipient of the 2007 Niche Leadership Differentiation Award.
